The Tungaloy Corporation has now added another 30 new toolholders to its existing J-Series of turning tools to enable end users to conduct turning operations as close to the chuck/collet as possible. The new toolholders have now been extended to meet the demands of the marketplace to conduct external face and profile machining operations. The new holders can be used with the JS, JRP, JPP and JSP series of inserts. Among the new offerings is the JSVJ2 toolholder for profile machining. The positive rake toolholder with a screw-on insert system has no offset and is available with three variations that all have right and left hand options. With similar attributes and also for profile machining is the new JSVP2 toolholder, this holder has six variations and utilises the P2 style of Tungaloy inserts. For general turning and face machining, Tungaloy has added the new JSVL2P toolholders to the range. With three holders available in right and left hand format, the positive type toolholder utilises the L2 inserts. This toolholder compliments the JSVAB holder that is used with Tungaloy’s A type inserts. The new toolholders extend the capabilities for end users conducting intricate profile and face machining and can be used with the JRP, JPP and JSP ground chipbreaker inserts that offer excellent performance when machining stainless steels, superalloys and additional difficult to machine materials. The inserts offer excellent chip control that deliver low cutting forces to enhance productivity and
surface finishes. When combined with the tried & tested inserts, the
rigid and robust design of the new additions to the J-Series of toolholders give the end user improved tool life, surface finishes and productivity levels. Total 30 items
