For the continuous and interrupted turning of steel Tungaloy Corporation has now launched two new insert grades, the T9115 and T9125. Providing excellent wear resistance and tool life improvements of up to 50% when compared to competitor products, the two new grades will deliver productivity benefits and cost reductions for the end user. As part of Tungaloy’s established T9100 series, the T9115 is a well-balanced grade with both excellent chipping and wear resistance characteristics whilst the T9125 is an extremely versatile grade that dramatically improves chipping resistance. The CVD coated grades for turning steel and carbon steels incorporate Tungaloy’s “PremiumTec” Special Surface Technology. This exciting new coating method improves the surface finish of the inserts. As a result the T9115 and T9125 have reduced adhesion to improve chip flow and tool life. Both new grades incorporate Tungaloy’s new technology system that introduces a specialised treatment that bonds the coating to the substrate. Added to this is the columnar stabilisation technology that prevents insert cracking to improve fracture resistance and extend tool life. These technologies are coated by Tungaloy’s PremiumTec system to deliver inserts with exceptional tool life, surface finish and reliability. The new CVD coated insert grades can be applied to finish, semi-finish and medium to heavy cutting applications that can be continuous or interrupted, credit to the diverse and extensive insert designs now available. Tungaloy prepares the new grades such as CNMG, DNMG, SNMG, TNMG, VNMG, WNMG, CPMT, DCMT, SCMT and SPMT to name just a few variations. Total 448 items ( T9115:212 items / T9125:236 items ) PDF(1.0MB)
